After completing her degree in photography, Anna went onto assist photographer David Darling. In that same year she won The fashion and portrait categories of the B.I.P.P.National Print Awards for Scotland.

After working in a photography business partnership for two years, Anna setup on her own as a freelance photographer in 1997. Her main bodies of interest are portraits, fashion and advertising photography which she was awarded for. She works with both Film and Digital.

Her advertising experience has allowed her to work with Redpath on Children in Need Campaign, Marr Associates on Heather Cream , Union Advertising on City Couriers which won The Union an award , The Fourth Craw on the Royal Bank of Scotland and 20/20 Vision, Eskimo Design on True Colours and Woman on Top

Her editiorial credits include The Scotsman, The list, Total Film and Hairdressers Journal. Within the fashion world she has worked with model agencies from Storm Models and IMG in London to Model Team Scotland with regards to fashion she has worked with designers like Ulrich Engler Couture, Shonagh K and Graeme Armour, London. Hairdressers include Charlie Taylor, Dylan K Hanson, London and Saks Aberdeen shots which won first prize for the L’Oreal Next Generation Awards for Scotland.

She has taken part in The Society of Scottish Artists annual exhibitions with her work.
